Welcome to The Chartwell House! |
|
The Chartwell House Early
Learning Centre
was developed to create a safe, wholesome environment for children
to Play, Discover, Learn and Grow. The Centre has a strong focus on
eco-friendliness, community involvement and premium educators.
The Chartwell House is situated on a heritage
property dating back to 1890. The current house was the actual farmhouse
of a strawberry farm that now has been transformed into the existing
Copeland Crt. community. The Copeland farmhouse was actually the
first house on the road we now refer to as Chartwell Rd. When we started
the project we took into consideration the magnificent history behind the house
and tried to stay true to its character and preserve the
house’s overall beauty. In addition to restoring and preserving the
house it self, we did our best to ensure construction was completed with
the environment in mind.

Chartwell WINTER PROGRAMS |
The winter months are upon us, and although we hope to go outside for fresh air and gross motor activity the reality is we have times where it is too cold for us to have the children outside for long periods of time. As The Chartwell House is not equipped with an indoor gym, we have decided to incorporate a variety of extra curricular activities to help beat the winter blues and keep fit!

So, you leave your child with us early morning, go to your office and immediately start worrying. Sound familiar? Well, that is exactly why all of our classrooms have a web based video camera that can be viewed by you or other friends and family through our password protected website. Your coffee break or lunch may be a good time to have a peak in and see how your little one is doing. |
